Our staff members are always willing to speak to your church, group or organization about a number of topics related to our work. Our speakers can present a program on our services, on the social issues that necessitate the existence of our ministries, or on the many ways individuals may become involved in supporting and partnering with our ministries. Doug Devore, LSW, ACSW
Doug Devore has been an employee of Baptist Children's Home and Family Services for over thirty-eight years and has served as Executive Director since 1995. Doug possesses a wealth of knowledge about the inner workings of our ministry and speaks with a passion developed from years of witnessing first-hand the lives that have been changed by the ministry of BCHFS.

Carla Donoho, MSW
Carla has been an employee of BCHFS for 25 years spending most of that time as a member of our Angels' Cove staff. Carla currently serves as the Director of Angels' Cove in Mt. Vernon. Carla's deep love for the young mothers and babies served through Angels' Cove is evident as she speaks and shares stories of how God has used our ministry to impact lives.

Ken Steward
Ken has been an employee of BCHFS since 2008 and currently serves as the Director of Development and Communications. As the parent of a child adopted through Angels' Cove, Ken enjoys the opportunity to share his family's personal testimony as well as provide insight into the adoption process.

Rhiannon Mitchell
Rhiannon joined our BCHFS family in 2011 and is currently serving as the Central Illinois Development officer. Rhiannon is passionate about serving children in need. Aside from her work with BCHFS, her resume includes a number of volunteer efforts benefiting children as well as serving as an intern with St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.

Ron Summers
Ron has been an employee of Baptist Children's Home and Family Services since 2005 and is currently serving as the Southern Illinois Development Officer. Ron is a proven communicator with a heart for helping struggling children and families. Before coming to work for BCHFS, Ron served our state from the political realm, working as a member of the Illinois Secretary of State's office.

Jay Boyd
Jay Boyd joined the BCHFS family in 2011 and currently serves as the Northern Illinois Development Officer. Jay has always had a passion for displaced children. As a native of Florida, he previously worked for the Florida Baptist Children's Homes as an assistant enrichment coordinator and later served as the communications intern for the FBCH state office.
