The Power of Prayer Can Never Be Overlooked....

The ability to go to our Lord in prayer is an amazing privilege given to us as followers of Jesus Christ. At Baptist Children's Home and Family Services, we are witnesses of the undeniable effects that prayer has on our ministry and in the lives of those we care for. We humbly ask for your fervent prayers as we strive to reflect the love of Christ by serving those in desperate need of hope and healing. The following are a few areas in which you can pray specifically for our ministry.

Please pray for the following...

Please continue to pray as we serve many children and families.
Our children in residential care who have been abused and/or neglected by those in their lives they love and trust.
For those children whose behaviors need intervention to heal the hurts and redirect their behaviors.
For the families of our children in residential care (Carmi and Mt. Vernon).
For our leadership as we are guided in the present and future of our ministries.
For the finances that are essential for our work to continue and expand to meet the increasing need.

Young mothers-to-be who are frightened and in need of support and direction but were brave enough to choose life over abortion.
Young mothers who sacrificially make an adoption plan for their child, looking past their own desires and placing their child first.
Adoptive couples desperately wanting a child and having to rely on the sacrificial gift of a birth mother.
For the babies born in our care that they will be healthy.
For individuals and families who come to us for counseling for whatever need they have in their lives.
For our staff who work hard to meet the needs of those they serve.
