Maternity Care Referrals...

Angels’ Cove, the maternity center of BCHFS, is located in Mount Vernon. Girls facing a crisis pregnancy find love and care in a homelike setting. Hope and answers to very difficult problems are offered along with medical care. Girls electing to parent their babies participate in parenting classes and training in independent living skills. Girls electing to place their child for adoption select the adoptive family. In-home Pregnancy Care is also available for girls who need additional help but have adequate housing. These services may be received through the Mt. Vernon location or through BCHFS regional offices. Residents are encouraged to continue their education while in care. Junior and senior high age girls attend public schools. GED, vocational, and college coursework are also available.
